Your Options – LCD & CRT Settlements

If you are an Oregon natural person, you may:

  • Participate in the Settlements. Oregon natural persons must submit a claim form in order to participate in the Settlements.

  • Exclude yourself. Requests to be excluded from the LCD Settlements must have been submitted online or postmarked by January 15, 2016. For the CRT Settlements, exclusion requests must have been submitted online or postmarked by March 18, 2017.

  • Do nothing. If you do not submit a claim or exclude yourself, you will get no benefit and give up all rights.

If you represent an Oregon political subdivision:

  • Participate in the LCD Settlements by Doing Nothing. Oregon political subdivisions do not need to take any action to participate in the LCD Settlements, and will continue to be represented by the Oregon Attorney General. The political subdivision will be bound by the terms of the LCD Settlements, and will release the Defendants and their related entities from any claims the political subdivision may have relating to the allegations in this lawsuit. Political subdivisions that are owed money under the distribution plan will be contacted and sent payment without any further action on their part.

  • Exclude yourself. Requests to be excluded from the LCD Settlements must have been submitted online or postmarked by January 15, 2016.

If you are part of the State of Oregon:

  • Participate in the Settlements by Doing Nothing. The State of Oregon does not need to take any action to participate in the Settlements, and will continue to be represented by the Oregon Attorney General. The State of Oregon will be bound by the terms of the Settlements, and will release the Defendants and their related entities from any claims the State may have relating to the allegations in this lawsuit. The State of Oregon will be sent payment without any further action on their part. The State of Oregon cannot be excluded from the Settlements.
